Payment Partnerships Manager

About the role

Melio is looking for a manager to lead commercial strategy and maintain relationships with financial institutions, payment networks, and fintech partners. You will serve as a central point of contact for our money movement infrastructure, ensuring our product capabilities remain competitive and effective.

What you'll do

• Manage daily operations and ongoing relationships with banks, payment processors, and fintech partners.
• Negotiate partnership agreements to support new product developments.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the payments ecosystem.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Product, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to onboard new partners.
• Translate complex operational data into actionable insights and clear narratives for stakeholders.
• Present strategic updates and pitches to internal and external C-level executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership management within the financial services or payments sector.
• Candidates with an MBA and 3 years of relevant experience are eligible.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to communicate business impact through metrics and charts.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex problems to diverse audiences.

Practical notes

• Base salary range: $110,000 to $130,000 per year.
