Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Melio is looking for a developer to join our Product Engineering group and build payment solutions for small businesses. You will focus on creating and maintaining integrations that allow partners like Shopify, Capital One, and Fiserv to embed our platform capabilities.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain integrations for high-profile external partners.
• Build and manage REST APIs for both internal use and external partner consumption.
• Design custom payment solutions to help small businesses manage transactions efficiently.
• Write code across the entire stack, including front-end interfaces and back-end logic.
• Collaborate with partner stakeholders and internal teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, feature implementation, and bug resolution.
• Deploy updates and iterate on platform architecture to improve integration speed.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of professional software engineering experience covering both frontend and backend development.
• Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in at least one modern framework: React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience developing API-based products or engineer-focused tools.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture, specifically AWS and Lambda.
• Understanding of production-level web product architecture.

• Salary: $135,000-$160,000 per year.
