Senior Data Infra & AI Engineer

About the role

Join the Data Apps & Infra team to build the foundation for AI-driven features across our B2B payment platform. You will take full ownership of our AI framework while creating infrastructure that allows developers to deploy data applications efficiently.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Architect and manage secure, scalable systems for data processing and storage.
• Develop and maintain the company-wide machine learning and LLM infrastructure to accelerate AI feature delivery.
• Translate raw data into product improvements through entity mapping and actionable insights.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to lead projects from initial design to production deployment.
• Contribute to the technical direction and user experience of our payment platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, architecture, and design.
• Proven background in managing data at scale, including ETL processes and service architecture.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across various departments.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with MLOps infrastructure or Large Language Models.
• Background in serverless architectures like AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript for backend development.
• Familiarity with streaming and data application tools such as Kinesis, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, or Spark.
