Data Scientist - Value-Based Care Analytics

About the role

+MEDRITE Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated professional to analyze clinical and financial datasets to advance our value-based care initiatives. You will work on-site in New York to transform raw information into strategies that improve patient health outcomes and optimize our reimbursement structures.

What you'll do

• Construct and manage data pipelines to support organizational decision-making.
• Create predictive and prescriptive models to address operational and clinical challenges.
• Design dashboards and reports that translate technical findings for leadership.
• Partner with internal teams to define research questions and validate data accuracy.
• Track performance indicators and assist with quality improvement projects across our centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
• Ability to manage large, complex datasets and apply statistical methods to healthcare problems.
• Experience building data visualizations for non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical results clearly.
• Attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare analytics, population health, or value-based care models such as risk adjustment, quality metrics, and cost-of-care analysis.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
