Senior Strategy & Business Operations Analyst

About the role

You will act as the primary analytical partner to the VP of Strategy and Business Operations, shaping the direction of the company through independent research and executive-level reporting. This position involves defining the internal narrative for business performance and managing key leadership forums like the MQBR and executive offsites.

What you'll do

• Lead independent investigations into high-impact business topics that have not yet been explored.
• Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for the executive team.
• Manage the agendas and narrative structures for the MQBR and executive offsite meetings.
• Establish new benchmarks for how the company measures and understands its operational performance.
• Collaborate across departments to identify patterns and surface critical business trends.

Requirements

• Professional background in strategy, business operations, or high-growth B2B SaaS.
• Experience managing MBR, QBR, or Board-level reporting cadences.
• Mastery of SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and pipeline coverage.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial and operational modelling.
• Ability to create professional presentations and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• High level of autonomy in scoping and executing projects without a set playbook.
• Direct communication style with the ability to present difficult findings transparently.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools and automation to improve operational workflows and reporting.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot, or Sigma.
