About the role
This is a founding-level role for a senior engineer to shape the technical direction of a new team supporting the entire Match Group portfolio. You will own features from end-to-end, building the infrastructure that powers user acquisition across apps like Tinder, Hinge, and OkCupid.

What you'll do
- Define the architectural roadmap and engineering standards for central MarTech services.
- Instrument marketing and attribution SDKs within iOS and Android applications.
- Manage server-side event delivery to ad platforms and data warehouses.
- Architect internal tools for campaign management, creative operations, and audience syncing.
- Develop AI-native workflows and agent-ready infrastructure to modernize marketing operations.
- Collaborate directly with marketing and analytics stakeholders to solve business problems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience shipping production software.
- Proficiency in mobile development (Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android) including release lifecycles.
- Experience building and maintaining backend services or APIs using languages such as Python, Go, Node, or Kotlin.
- Proven ability to establish technical direction and make architectural decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and data warehouse integration.
- Proficiency using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Copilot to accelerate development.
Nice to have
- Background in AdTech or MarTech domains.
- Experience with attribution SDKs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or Firebase.
- Knowledge of SKAdNetwork, Google Play Install Referrer API, and server-side tracking via Meta CAPI or GTM.
- Experience building agentic tools or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
