Sr. Software Engineer, MarTech at Matchgroup.
About the role
Join a newly formed team responsible for the measurement, attribution, and operational infrastructure supporting the entire Match Group portfolio. You will own features from the client SDK through to the backend, building tools that enable AI-native marketing operations.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Instrument marketing and attribution events within iOS and Android applications.
- Manage privacy and consent protocols across mobile platforms.
- Develop server-side event delivery systems for ad platforms and data warehouses.
- Build internal marketing tools for creative management, audience syncing, and programmatic ad management.
- Create agent-driven workflows and Model Context Protocol servers to modernize marketing operations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience shipping production software.
- Proficiency in iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development, including SDK integration and app store release cycles.
- Backend or full-stack experience building APIs and services using languages such as Node, Python, Go, or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to independently own and resolve ambiguous technical challenges.
- Experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Copilot to accelerate development.
- Willingness to work in the office 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
- Background in MarTech or AdTech domains.
- Experience with attribution SDKs such as AppsFlyer, Firebase, Adjust, or Branch.
- Knowledge of SKAdNetwork, Google Play Install Referrer API, and server-side tracking (Meta CAPI, server-side GTM).
- Experience with ad-platform APIs for Meta, Google Ads, or TikTok.
- Prior work building LLM-powered or agentic tooling.
