Product Manager (Azar)

About the role

You will define the strategy for Azar's card recommendation and matching algorithms. This role involves collaborating with engineering, machine learning, design, and data teams to ship product improvements.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end process of hypothesis generation, A/B test design, execution, analysis, and reporting to improve recommendation quality.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators for the recommendation system.
• Identify issues within the system and implement solutions to resolve them.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a product manager focused on data or technology.
• Proven track record of launching new features through cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data, and design teams.
• Experience refining algorithm-based products such as search, ranking, or recommendation engines.
• Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests for large-scale user bases, including interpreting results using statistical methods.
• Proficiency in SQL for data exploration and Python for data processing and visualization.

Nice to have

• Ability to communicate effectively in English for meetings and documentation.
• Understanding of the machine learning development lifecycle and experience working with ML engineers or data scientists.
• Active use of AI tools to support daily workflows.
