About the role

Matchgroup is seeking a Privacy Analyst to support our global portfolio of dating brands, including Tinder, Hinge, and OkCupid. You will serve as a key resource for product and engineering teams, ensuring our platforms maintain high standards of data protection while fostering meaningful user connections.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and legal staff to review new features and data usage for potential risks.
• Perform and maintain documentation for privacy assessments in compliance with global regulations.
• Develop and refine scalable templates, workflows, and internal tools to streamline privacy reviews.
• Convert intricate legal and regulatory mandates into clear, actionable advice for product teams.
• Monitor global privacy developments and integrate new requirements into existing workflows.
• Assist in the execution of the company-wide privacy program and governance initiatives.
• Participate in audits and evaluations of privacy practices alongside cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Background in privacy, law, public policy, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing PIAs, DPIAs, LIAs, or product-level privacy reviews.
• Understanding of digital product architecture, including data flows, APIs, SDKs, and AI/ML applications.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and product stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in using AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Zoom AI Companion to automate tasks, draft documentation, and improve workflow efficiency.
