About the role
Matchgroup is seeking a strategic advisor to guide leadership within the E&E Vancouver Studio. You will manage people operations and culture initiatives for teams including Plenty of Fish, The League, and Finance.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Advise senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Manage performance cycles, including calibration, succession planning, and annual compensation reviews.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues while collaborating with Legal and People Operations.
- Oversee Canadian benefits administration and core HRIS workflows for onboarding and offboarding.
- Drive change management initiatives and support local office culture.
- Partner with internal centers of excellence to execute development and recruitment programs.
- Serve as the primary in-office contact for local employees and visiting staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR or as a People Business Partner.
- Background supporting product, technology, or high-growth business environments.
- Demonstrated ability to coach executives and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of performance management, compensation, and compliance.
- Experience managing sensitive employee relations and high-risk termination cases.
- Ability to work from the Vancouver office three days per week, specifically Tuesday through Thursday.
