What you'll do
- Analyze industry trends, new technologies, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
- Benchmark Match Group brands and identify market signals for potential acquisitions, internal development, or partnerships.
- Support resource allocation and strategic planning across different brands and regions.
- Identify portfolio-level opportunities and risks, then develop data-driven recommendations.
- Create financial models from user, market, and financial data to size growth opportunities.
- Present results and strategic implications, outlining implementation paths.
- Lead and support strategic initiatives for corporate and business unit leadership.
- Provide clear perspectives based on analysis, business context, and operational realities.
- Prepare materials for executive forums like Strategic Planning, Board of Directors meetings, and Quarterly Earnings.
- Support project management for these executive programs.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
- Experience in consumer technology is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize answers and focus on the implications of findings.
- Strong analytical skills, including market and competitive analysis, using strategy frameworks, and developing business cases with incomplete data.
- Experience in developing and implementing growth strategies.
- Demonstrated success in aligning stakeholders across functional, business, and technical teams.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with experience creating concise, executive-ready materials for C-suite audiences.
- Highly organized and proactive, thriving in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Proficient in building presentations using Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proficient in conducting analysis and modeling in Excel, including intermediate-level formulas (e.g., index+match, xlookup), pivot tables, and charts.
- Experience writing clear, well-structured executive memos.
