About the role
Hinge is looking for a Lead UX Researcher to guide the strategy for our Growth product group. You will examine how our paid features and premium offerings impact user behavior and help people secure meaningful dates across global markets.

What you'll do
- Define and manage the research roadmap for Growth teams to influence product strategy and decision making.
- Execute full-cycle research projects, moving between strategic discovery and iterative evaluation.
- Investigate international expansion efforts, monetization models, and merchandising strategies.
- Design for diverse user needs, including those with accessibility requirements.
- Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketing teams to prioritize research goals.
- Provide fast, actionable insights that move the product mission forward.
- Foster clear communication and navigate complex project requirements with empathy.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional user research experience.
- 2-3 years of experience specifically in consumer-facing product research.
- Background in monetization, subscription models, or zero-to-one product development.
- Proficiency in mixed-methods research with a focus on quantitative skills like surveys and experimental design.
- Ability to analyze data and build dashboards using R, SPSS, or Looker.
- Experience building collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners in engineering, design, and data science.
- Commitment to mentoring peers and contributing to team culture.
