Creative Director, Certificates

About the role

We are seeking a creative leader to define the strategy and execution for our Certificates product line. You will function as a hybrid strategist and maker, guiding a nimble team to launch new courses while maintaining our brand standards.

What you'll do

• Develop creative strategy for Certificates, including trailers, social content, and lifecycle marketing.
• Manage the end-to-end production of trailers, from initial concept to final edit.
• Write copy, design layouts, and build presentation decks to stay hands-on with the creative output.
• Establish and maintain the visual and tonal identity for all product launches.
• Collaborate with Content, Social, and Product teams to ensure marketing aligns with user needs.
• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and production workflows.
• Pitch creative concepts and strategic rationale to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of professional experience, with a background in both agency and in-house settings.
• Portfolio demonstrating both high-level strategy and individual craft.
• Proven ability to define and enforce brand voice and tone.
• Experience presenting creative work to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead project-based teams without direct management authority.
• Proficiency in integrating AI tools into active production cycles.
• Versatility in art direction, video direction, copywriting, and presentation design.

Practical notes

This role is based in California. Compensation includes salary, equity, and a benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, and flexible PTO.
