About the role

We are looking for an engineer to create and implement optical measurement and machine vision solutions for our production and inspection environments. You will focus on solving intricate quality control problems by integrating hardware and software systems.

What you'll do

• Construct and validate optical metrology and machine vision setups.
• Create algorithms for vision processing and image analysis.
• Build and support software using C# or Python.
• Implement and train machine learning models for measurement and inspection tasks.
• Partner with IT, quality, manufacturing, and engineering departments.
• Refine and repair measurement systems.
• Produce technical guides and instruct operators on system use.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in machine vision or optical metrology.
• Practical background in imaging hardware, cameras, and optical instruments.
• Proficiency in C# or Python programming.
• Experience applying machine vision and image processing algorithms.
• Ability to use vision software such as Halcon, OpenCV, or LabVIEW.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques for analyzing images.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and solve complex problems.
