About the role

Masabi is seeking an experienced iOS developer to join the Passenger/Justride Apps team. You will focus on maintaining and upgrading our native iOS application, which serves as a white-label platform for transit agencies globally.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and improve features for our native iOS app to support fare payments, ticketing, and journey planning.
• Integrate the Justride SDK and public APIs into the application.
• Maintain a clean, scalable codebase that functions correctly across multiple agency deployments.
• Collaborate with platform engineering teams to align app requirements with the broader product roadmap.
• Ensure high code quality and stability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in native iOS development using Swift and UIKit.
• History of shipping and maintaining production-grade mobile applications.
• Background working with white-label or multi-tenant codebases.
• Practical experience incorporating AI-assisted tools into your daily engineering workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apple Pay and PassKit.
• Background in integrating payment gateways like Stripe.
• Familiarity with XcodeGen for project generation.
• Experience working with public APIs and SDK integrations.
• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines.
