About the role

Marqeta is seeking a senior leader to oversee European go-to-market execution, including solution engineering, delivery, and program implementation. You will manage the full customer lifecycle and build the operational framework required to scale our regional business.

What you'll do

• Lead and scale European solution engineering and delivery teams supporting issuer processing and program management.
• Establish standardized frameworks for customer onboarding, implementation, and expansion to improve speed and quality.
• Oversee card BIN delivery operations, integrating processes and governance into a unified model.
• Manage operational relationships with card networks such as Visa and Mastercard, ensuring certification and compliance.
• Align cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Compliance, and Legal to eliminate friction in the customer journey.
• Develop capacity models and investment priorities to support long-term European growth.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in solution engineering, delivery, implementation, or customer operations within the payments or financial services sector.
• 10+ years of experience scaling and leading large, customer-facing operational organizations.
• Expertise in the payments ecosystem, specifically regarding issuer processing, program management, card networks, or BIN sponsorship.
• Proven ability to design and transform operational processes to reduce time to value.
• Experience building and mentoring high-performance teams and managing senior stakeholders.
