Business Systems Product Manager

About the role

You will manage the product roadmap for the internal platforms and integrations that support Marqeta business operations. This role acts as the primary link between business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate operational requirements into prioritized development backlogs.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the product strategy for business systems, balancing new initiatives with technical debt and operational needs.
• Lead the planning and commitment process by gathering requirements and creating epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the backlog while managing tradeoffs and communicating decisions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the GTM Product Manager on shared Salesforce workflows and cross-functional dependencies.
• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and design through to testing, release, and hypercare.
• Define success metrics and track feature adoption to report outcomes to leadership.
• Contribute to the development of product management competencies within the BT organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, specifically in enterprise platforms, business systems, or internal tooling.
• Experience working directly with Finance, Legal, Risk, or Compliance teams.
• Familiarity with Salesforce as a platform, including case management or compliance workflows.
• Experience with ERP systems like Intacct and contract lifecycle management tools like Ironclad.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present roadmap tradeoffs to Directors and VPs.

Nice to have

• Background in regulated B2B SaaS, payments, or fintech.
• Knowledge of financial compliance workflows such as KYC/KYB or sanctions screening.
• Experience with iPaaS solutions like Workato.
• Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake and their role in business reporting.
• Experience managing platforms shared across multiple business domains.
