Join Mach's physical security team, ensuring only authorized individuals access our Huntington Beach headquarters. This role involves managing visitor entry and exit, acting as a key point of contact, and upholding site security protocols. You will be a foundational part of our physical security programs.

What you'll do

• Greet all employees, contractors, and guests with a welcoming approach.
• Verify authorization for all individuals entering the facility.
• Serve as a communication link between hosts and arriving visitors or new hires.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process for all site visitors.
• Process visitor and foreign visitor requests before their arrival.
• Monitor various security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarms, for potential issues.
• Prepare and send out emergency communications when necessary.
• Independently address and resolve security incidents effectively and quickly.
• Maintain a professional and compliant environment, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent certificate.
• 2 or more years of experience as a Security Officer or Operator.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts on weekends.
• Familiarity with operating access control and visitor management systems.
• Ability to remain composed in stressful situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• 3 or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, emergency response, or the military.
• Ability to stand for extended periods when required.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
