Fall 2026 Engineering Internship

About the role

Mach is seeking engineering students to join our defense technology team for the fall of 2026. You will contribute to the development of autonomous platforms and hardware systems designed to support national security.

What you'll do

• Develop guidance, control, and navigation software for unmanned systems.
• Write embedded firmware and real-time code for flight and drive hardware.
• Design, manufacture, and test mechanical and structural components.
• Work on propulsion, energetics, and systems integration for new defense platforms.
• Build tools, infrastructure, and simulations to increase engineering speed.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer science, or a related engineering field.
• Ability to own technical problems from start to finish.
• Interest in autonomous systems, defense technology, and national security.

Practical notes

• This role requires compliance with U.S. export control laws, including EAR and ITAR. Offers may be contingent on your ability to access controlled technology without an export license sponsorship.
