Lyra Health provides evidence-based mental health services to over 20 million people. We are seeking a senior engineer to help maintain and grow the technology powering our clinical care platform.

What you'll do

• Build and refine APIs using Python and Java.
• Design and deploy backend services that support core product features.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and clinical specialists.
• Maintain high standards for software quality and security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Follow engineering best practices during all project phases.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional experience building enterprise or consumer web applications.
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Spring.
• Experience with multi-tenant web application architecture.
• Background in developing scalable REST APIs.
• Ability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.
