Staff Software Engineer

About the role

Luxury Presence is a Series C company with $100M in annual recurring revenue, building an AI-driven platform for the real estate sector. We are looking for a technical leader to integrate AI agents into our core development workflows and architecture. This role focuses on scaling our systems while defining how engineering teams operate in an AI-native environment.

What you'll do

• Lead large-scale technical projects from initial concept to production deployment.
• Build intelligent product features using LLMs and agent frameworks to assist real estate professionals.
• Manage architecture for our multi-tenant infrastructure and AI-powered site builder pipeline.
• Establish engineering standards and integrate AI agents into our daily coding and review practices.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to improve team output and individual growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including time in senior or staff-level positions.
• Daily experience using AI tools like Claude Code in a production development workflow.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable microservices within cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, event-driven architecture using Kafka or SQS, and databases including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to product and executive stakeholders.
