Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Luxury Presence is a Series C company with 100 million dollars in annual recurring revenue, providing an AI growth platform for the real estate industry. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop our self-service infrastructure platform that enables both human and AI agents to ship software efficiently.

What you'll do

• Design and manage a self-service platform that automates infrastructure provisioning and delivery.
• Create golden paths for deployment using GitOps, ArgoCD, and Terraform modules to reduce manual ticket requests.
• Develop platform primitives for AI agent isolation, including sandboxed runtimes, workload identity, and audit trails.
• Build validation gates for ephemeral environments, including automated security, performance, and load testing.
• Maintain observability through dashboards and operational controls to track DORA metrics, costs, and system reliability.
• Manage on-call rotations and lead incident responses to improve system stability.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering with a track record of owning infrastructure workstreams.
• Practical experience using AI development tools like Claude Code or Codex for infrastructure tasks.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, specifically EKS, IAM, VPC, ECR, SSM, Secrets Manager, S3, SQS, Lambda, and RDS/Aurora.
• Proficiency in Terraform and GitOps workflows using tools like Atlantis and ArgoCD.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD, including pipeline optimization and observability.
• Proven ability to manage incidents and perform post-incident follow-ups.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with policy-as-code and identity management tools such as SPIFFE, SPIRE, OIDC, or HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience building internal developer portals or CLI tools.
• Background in implementing cloud cost attribution and budget management.

• Infrastructure: AWS, EKS, Terraform, Atlantis, Vault, Docker, OPA.
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Kustomize.
• Messaging: Kafka (Confluent Cloud).
• Observability: Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
• Languages: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, React.
