About the role

This position supports the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations at the Lucid Service Center. You will lead a team of technicians, advisors, and parts staff while focusing on operational efficiency and high-quality customer interactions.

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor service staff, including performance evaluations and feedback.
• Oversee daily service business, including repair workflows, customer interactions, and reporting.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training for new service personnel.
• Monitor timecards and staff schedules to ensure operational coverage.
• Perform quality control inspections on completed vehicle repairs.
• Ensure all work orders are accurate and thoroughly documented.
• Address client concerns and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Assist with hands-on repairs as needed and support administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive service, including tracking KPIs like CSI, repair completion time, and PDI turnaround.
• Ability to analyze internal reports and adapt to proprietary DMS software.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver license with no suspensions in the last 12 months.
• For drivers under 21: must have held a license for at least 3 years and pass Lucid training.
• Willingness to travel as required and complete CPR training after hiring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• AA or BS degree in Business Management or Automotive Technology.
• Experience with EV powertrains, HV, and LV systems.
• Background in startup environments.
• Previous experience with OEM-specific EV training.
• ASE Certifications.
• EPA 609 Certification.
