Service logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

This position oversees the end-to-end logistics for spare parts to maintain high availability across the dealer and service network. You will manage the flow of components, handle urgent vehicle-off-road requests, and ensure all operations meet strict service standards.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Direct daily distribution of spare parts to body shops, dealers, and service centers.
• Coordinate inbound shipments from regional centers, OEM hubs, and local suppliers.
• Manage urgent and vehicle-off-road logistics to reduce repair times.
• Monitor third-party logistics providers to ensure they meet service level agreements and operational targets.
• Oversee reverse logistics, including warranty returns, core returns, and recall-related shipments.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, customs regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics like transit times and on-time delivery rates.
• Support cross-functional projects, including new model launches and system improvements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in spare parts operations or service logistics.
• Background within an automotive OEM or authorized distributor environment.
• Knowledge of automotive parts supply chains, vehicle-off-road processes, and dealer service needs.
• Experience managing relationships with freight forwarders, transport providers, and third-party warehouses.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage high-priority, time-sensitive logistics demands.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
