About the role

The Service Assistant supports the daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality client interactions. This role involves managing a dynamic schedule and assisting with both technical and logistical tasks to keep the facility running effectively.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients.
• Transport vehicles for customer delivery, loaner swaps, bodyshop visits, and test charging at Electrify America stations.
• Coordinate internal vehicle movements via Lyft as needed.
• Support the Pre-Delivery Inspection process, carrier preparation, and vehicle hand-over procedures.
• Assist technicians with basic shop repairs.
• Manage vehicle staging, parts delivery, and vehicle cleaning.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with no suspensions in the last 12 months.
• For drivers under 21: must have held a license for at least 3 years and complete internal training.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Capacity to work a full-time schedule, including weekends or extended hours during peak times.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to complete company-provided CPR training after hiring.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification after hiring.
