Service Advisor, Houston

About the role

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the full service lifecycle for our luxury electric vehicles. This role requires balancing technical communication with high-touch customer service to ensure every vehicle meets our quality standards before returning to the owner.

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end service experience, from initial greeting to final vehicle handover.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and document any existing damage or wear.
• Process new vehicle check-ins, including noting transport damage on the Bill of Lading.
• Coordinate loaner vehicles and arrange transportation services like Lyft for clients.
• Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
• Audit work orders to ensure technician time punches and labor operations are accurate.
• Resolve warranty claim rejections and manage customer authorizations via DocuSign.
• Collect payments and explain completed repairs to ensure client understanding.
• Conduct final quality control checks on all serviced vehicles.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a customer-facing Service Advisor or front-of-house automotive role.
• Valid driver's license with no suspensions in the last 12 months.
• Drivers under 21 must have held a license for at least 3 years and complete internal training.
• Ability to explain automotive concepts to clients with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
• Willingness to complete company-provided CPR training after starting.
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• AA or BS degree in Business Management or Automotive Technology.
• Familiarity with EV powertrains, as well as high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
