Security Supervisor

About the role

This role involves managing daily security operations and directing frontline staff to maintain site safety and compliance. You will report to the Security Manager, acting as a primary link between leadership and the security team to ensure all protocols are followed.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily security activities, including gate operations, patrols, and reception duties.
• Enforce standard operating procedures, access control policies, and visitor management rules.
• Verify team readiness, attendance, and shift handovers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance and correct any performance gaps.
• Lead the initial response to security incidents or emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.
• Document daily activities, incident summaries, and attendance records for management review.
• Provide coaching and task assignments to security personnel.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and contractors to maintain operational flow.
• Assist with investigations by gathering facts and maintaining records.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in security operations within industrial, manufacturing, corporate, or large-scale facility settings.
• Prior experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general security reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions during high-pressure situations.

Nice to have

• Background in military, law enforcement, or corporate security.
• Experience with security contractor coordination.
• Certifications in first aid, crisis management, safety, or emergency response.
