About the role

Lucid Motors is seeking a coordinator to manage government regulations and product safety compliance within our electric vehicle manufacturing operations. This position acts as the primary link between production, engineering, quality, and homologation teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are integrated into vehicle manufacturing and verified prior to release.

What you'll do

• Create and manage manufacturing procedures and verification controls for government, safety, and EV-specific compliance.
• Collaborate with the homologation department to document and translate regulatory standards into actionable production and inspection requirements.
• Develop and maintain compliance checklists categorized by market, model, and product configuration.
• Participate in readiness reviews for launches and product releases to ensure all compliance gates are met.
• Confirm that certification labels, VIN accuracy, and market-specific stickers are correctly implemented in production.
• Oversee compliance readiness for high-voltage safety, battery integrity, and emergency response data.
• Maintain records of safety audits, regulatory checks, and corrective actions.
• Perform surveillance audits on production processes to mitigate risks related to homologation and product safety.
• Verify process controls for critical vehicle components, including high-voltage systems, restraint systems, and propulsion hardware.

Requirements

• Experience managing regulatory compliance in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of EV-specific safety standards, including battery systems, high-voltage integrity, and electrical isolation.
• Proficiency in translating government regulations into manufacturing process controls and inspection plans.
• Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and production.
• Experience with product release gates, audit procedures, and corrective action documentation.
