Parts Advisor, Houston

About the role

This position manages parts operations within our service center to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient inventory management. You will serve as a key point of contact for parts logistics, supporting our service team to maintain operational flow.

What you'll do

• Monitor and manage parts inventory levels to meet business demands.
• Maintain accurate inventory control systems, including annual and perpetual counts.
• Process orders for inventory and specific repair requests.
• Receive, stock, and organize parts in designated areas.
• Coordinate parts transfers between Lucid service locations.
• Create parts estimates for internal fleet, insurance providers, and customers.
• Update local inventory based on current part revisions.
• Achieve high First Time Fill Rate (FTFR) targets.
• Manage the physical and digital processing of warranty returns.
• Utilize automotive terminology to accurately identify and order parts.
• Market and sell accessories according to company standards.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor (back counter).
• Proficiency in searching parts catalogs for repair requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
• Valid driver license with no suspensions in the last 12 months.
• Drivers under 21 must have held a license for at least 3 years and pass internal training.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification and complete company-provided CPR training.

Nice to have

• AA or BS degree in Business Management or Automotive Technology.
• Experience with EV powertrains, LV systems, or HV systems.
• Background in start-up environments.
• Previous OEM parts training.
