About the role
This position manages parts operations within our service center to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient inventory management. You will serve as a key point of contact for parts logistics, supporting our service team to maintain operational flow.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Monitor and manage parts inventory levels to meet business demands.
- Maintain accurate inventory control systems, including annual and perpetual counts.
- Process orders for inventory and specific repair requests.
- Receive, stock, and organize parts in designated areas.
- Coordinate parts transfers between Lucid service locations.
- Create parts estimates for internal fleet, insurance providers, and customers.
- Update local inventory based on current part revisions.
- Achieve high First Time Fill Rate (FTFR) targets.
- Manage the physical and digital processing of warranty returns.
- Utilize automotive terminology to accurately identify and order parts.
- Market and sell accessories according to company standards.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor (back counter).
- Proficiency in searching parts catalogs for repair requirements.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
- Valid driver license with no suspensions in the last 12 months.
- Drivers under 21 must have held a license for at least 3 years and pass internal training.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification and complete company-provided CPR training.
Nice to have
- AA or BS degree in Business Management or Automotive Technology.
- Experience with EV powertrains, LV systems, or HV systems.
- Background in start-up environments.
- Previous OEM parts training.
