About the role
Lucid Motors is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to support its Research & Development (R&D) organization. This role involves working closely with business leaders and the HR department to align human resources strategies with company objectives. The ideal candidate will be proactive and determined in driving organizational success through effective HR practices.

What you'll do
- Offer HR guidance on performance management, employee relations, coaching, and organizational development.
- Work with mid-level managers to implement HR policies that support business growth.
- Collaborate with the HR team to foster a culture of excellence, engagement, and high performance.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop and launch programs for training, development, career mobility, and job performance.
- Create people strategies and design methods to improve organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Support essential HR processes like performance calibration, compensation cycles, and promotions.
- Analyze employee data, such as compensation, job levels, and attrition, to inform decisions and offer proactive solutions to client groups.
- Lead or perform assignments within the HR Generalist area, focusing on improving morale, workplace relationships, productivity, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements for daily employee management, consulting with the legal department as needed.
- Resolve complex issues related to the development and implementation of HR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, communications, or a related field, or a Master's degree.
- 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar role with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Current and comprehensive understanding of legal requirements for human resources and employee management, including workers' compensation, benefits, and federal/state employment laws.
- Proven expertise in interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counseling, and group presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the capacity to influence all levels of leadership and work effectively with diverse employees.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a rapidly growing environment, balancing demands and capacity when setting organizational priorities.
