Senior Behavior Planning Software Engineer

About the role

Join the ADAS Autonomous Driving team to develop and refine the software stack for our vehicle fleet. You will create new algorithms to improve decision-making capabilities and analyze real-world data to enhance the overall customer experience.

What you'll do

• Design, prototype, test, and deploy features for autonomous driving and ADAS systems.
• Research and implement machine learning models for prediction and planning, ensuring they are production-ready.
• Perform data analysis on fleet and simulation information to identify critical driving scenarios.
• Manage software architecture to ensure efficient and scalable data handling.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
• Minimum of 3 years of academic or industry experience using C++ and Python for data management and analysis.
• Proficiency in software design principles for building scalable systems.
• Practical knowledge of non-machine learning planning methods.
• Ability to take machine learning-based planning solutions from research to production.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of academic or industry experience in machine learning development for large-scale systems.
• Experience porting trained models to embedded hardware.
• Background in perception, environment modeling, prediction, or planning for robotics or ADAS.
• Experience with large-scale data processing for autonomous driving stacks.
• Academic or practical exposure to reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or simulation.
