About the role
This position involves the complete management of livingHR's internal payroll, HRIS, and HCM systems. It requires a practical, hands-on approach to system administration and payroll processing, not just implementation. You will be a key internal expert for our HR technology stack, ensuring our platforms are correctly set up, connected, compliant, and efficient as the company grows.

What you'll do
Manage all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations across various states.
Oversee the payroll schedule, tax submissions, handling of garnishments, and processing of any off-cycle payments.
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving payroll discrepancies and supporting audits.
Maintain and administer the primary HRIS platform, including managing user access, workflows, and data accuracy.
Support performance and engagement tools, such as Lattice, for goal setting, review cycles, and feedback mechanisms.
Coordinate system connections between HRIS, performance management, payroll, benefits, and other related software.
Lead system updates, the introduction of new features, and configuration adjustments.
Develop and implement automated processes to streamline HR administrative tasks.
Collaborate with HR leadership to translate operational needs into effective system designs.
Ensure the integrity of HR data, generate reports, and prepare for system audits.
Verify that payroll and HRIS procedures comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Provide reports and dashboards to aid in workforce planning and objective tracking.
Requirements
Possess at least 5 years of experience managing payroll and HRIS/HCM systems.
Have a background as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner with broad knowledge of the employee lifecycle.
Demonstrate experience working directly with clients in consulting, professional services, PEOs, or agency settings.
Proven hands-on experience administering a core HRIS platform, such as HiBob.
Proven hands-on experience administering a performance and engagement platform, such as Lattice.
Have a strong understanding of multi-state payroll compliance, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws.
Exhibit strong analytical skills for troubleshooting system integrations independently.
Possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory capabilities.
Be comfortable working in a lean, rapidly expanding environment that requires significant personal accountability.
Nice to have
Hold a certification in HRIS or a performance management platform.
