Staff Product Manager, Agent Observability

About the role

LiveKit is building the infrastructure for the agentic era, supporting voice and AI applications for companies like OpenAI, Spotify, and Meta. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead our observability suite, helping teams debug and evaluate AI agents in production. You will be the primary owner of this product, defining the strategy for how users monitor, trace, and measure the quality of their voice agents.

What you'll do

• Define the product vision and roadmap for the entire observability suite, including traces, recordings, dashboards, and evaluation metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering to determine build priorities and deliver high-quality features.
• Create tools that allow users to measure agent performance, including latency, cost, and conversation quality.
• Design interfaces that satisfy both technical engineers and non-technical operators.
• Analyze customer usage and production data to refine product priorities.
• Manage the growth of the observability product to drive adoption and revenue.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience at a senior or staff level.
• Proven history of managing developer-facing or data-heavy products.
• Ability to understand complex system architectures to make informed technical tradeoffs.
• Experience designing data-dense interfaces for diverse user personas.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy and minimal hierarchy.

Nice to have

• Experience building observability, monitoring, or analytics tools.
• Background in AI/LLM evaluation, tracing, or quality measurement.
• Knowledge of production debugging workflows, including logs and metrics.
• Previous work at a developer tools or infrastructure company.
• Familiarity with voice AI, real-time communication, or telephony.
• Experience with usage-based pricing models.
