About the role
Limble builds maintenance management software that helps businesses track assets and improve operational efficiency. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will drive the development of complex features while mentoring junior staff and establishing high standards for system architecture.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the full lifecycle of major features from initial design and planning through to deployment and testing.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and make architectural trade-off decisions.
- Write maintainable, high-performance code while minimizing technical debt and regressions.
- Review code, pair program, and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
- Participate in the hiring process by conducting technical interviews.
- Integrate AI-assisted development workflows into daily tasks to increase team productivity.
- Identify system risks and implement improvements to existing workflows.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 6+ years of experience building web applications.
- Proven history of leading significant projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in React and GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, cloud technologies, and responsive web design.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Experience mentoring other developers.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
Nice to have
- Experience in the SaaS industry or building B2B web applications.
- Proficiency in PHP, SQL, NodeJS, NestJS, or Angular.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proximity to the Charlotte, NC metro area.
