About the role
This role involves leading and expanding the user experience function at a growing B2B SaaS company. You will report to the VP of Product and play a key part in increasing product adoption. The position focuses on strategic leadership, team development, and integrating data-driven design practices.

- Represent user needs at the leadership level, embedding UX considerations early in product strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Support to link UX work to customer and business goals.
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure design feasibility, speed, and quality.
- Investigate how AI can enhance in-product experiences for users, reducing friction and accelerating value.
- Champion and implement Pendo as the main platform for user analytics, in-app guides, and behavioral insights.
- Establish internal practices for using Pendo data, including usage analytics, funnel data, and NPS signals, to inform design.
- Lead the team's adoption of AI tools in the design workflow to shorten the time from insight to validated solution.
- Partner with Product and CS to align on key metrics like adoption, activation, task success, and time-to-value.
- Drive a culture of hypothesis-driven design with regular usability testing, A/B testing, and quantitative validation.
- Oversee technical writing and in-app content, ensuring high standards for clarity and usability.
- Define best practices for in-app onboarding, tooltips, walkthroughs, and contextual help using Pendo.
- Partner with Customer Success and Support to identify friction points and create scalable self-serve content.
- Apply instructional design principles to the B2B SaaS product experience.
- Develop and maintain Limble's design system for scalability, consistency, and speed.
- Set and maintain high standards for interaction design, accessibility, and visual quality.
- Ensure UX research is an integral part of the design process.
Requirements
- 7 or more years of UX leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in scaling a UX function within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Direct experience with Pendo and the ability to translate behavioral data into design decisions.
- Proven experience using AI tools to speed up the design process and support design system management.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and best practices for in-app onboarding and guides.
- Strong collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support.
- Experience building, maturing, and maintaining a design system from its inception.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to align stakeholders and advocate for UX investment.
