About the role
Life360 is seeking a Director of Product to spearhead the engagement strategy for our AI-native platform. This individual will define how we deepen user connections and broaden platform participation. You will shape the future of how millions of families interact and stay connected.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Establish the strategic direction and roadmap for user engagement across safety, connection, and coordination features.
- Drive growth in user frequency and multi-circle participation to build lasting engagement.
- Develop and implement a framework for measuring engagement, including frequency and relationship depth.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to convert new users into consistently engaged members.
- Influence product teams, including Growth and Platform, to align on engagement infrastructure.
- Lead experimentation initiatives, from quick validation tests to larger strategic bets.
- Oversee the end-to-end member experience, including onboarding and contextual engagement features.
- Operate as an AI-native product manager, utilizing AI for research, drafting, analysis, and prototyping.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years in consumer product management, with a proven history of driving engagement and growth outcomes for large user bases.
- Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction at a director level, clarify ambiguity, and influence across organizational boundaries.
- Experience owning engagement strategy for products serving tens of millions of users.
- Versatility in product strategy, member experience design, growth partnerships, and data instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of user activation, virality, and onboarding processes, with a track record of shipping initiatives that improved engagement or acquisition.
- Expertise in designing and executing experiments at various scales, and creating metric frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Growth, and drive consistent product delivery.
- Experience operating as an AI-native product manager, using AI tools to accelerate workflows and contribute to best practices.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize information and build consensus.
- Deep empathy for families and their relationships, driving product intuition based on human needs.

Practical notes
- US Salary Range: $201,500 - $294,500
- Canada Salary Range: $233,000 - $273,000
- Compensation includes base pay, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
