Key facts

What you'll do

• Build Kubernetes operators and infrastructure microservices to enable self-healing systems.
• Manage shared components like Kafka and Debezium to ensure safe consumption by the R&D department.
• Create continuous delivery pipelines and workflows to accelerate deployment and remove bottlenecks.
• Design self-service tools that allow other teams to operate independently without manual ticketing.
• Track performance metrics including ticket volume, manual work hours, and delivery speed.
• Apply software engineering principles such as API design, observability, and failure handling to infrastructure development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, preferably from a top-tier university.
• Background in building and operating cloud-native applications, with a preference for AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Typescript, C#, Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience with GitOps and continuous delivery tools such as Argo CD and Helm.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel efforts and maintain a production-first mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership regarding system design, observability, and long-term maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Kubernetes operators using controller-runtime.
• Background in platform engineering or building internal services for other engineering teams.
