You will collaborate with various departments to enhance customer experience and ensure accurate pricing.

What you'll do

• Become the primary expert on pet insurance state rating plans and indications.
• Prepare rate filing documentation for new machine learning models.
• Identify opportunities for pricing and underwriting actions by monitoring results.
• Create tools and dashboards to automate pricing analyses and support business decisions.
• Build a comprehensive understanding of competitor rating methods and the market.
• Advance your actuarial education through SOA or CAS exams and industry research, applying new knowledge to your work.

Requirements

• Completed 2 or more SOA or CAS actuarial exams.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data science programming languages like R or Python, and proficiency with SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work in the Soho office three days per week.
• Eagerness to learn and apply AI to improve workflows.

• Previous pricing experience.
