Staff Engineer - Fullstack JS/TS at lemlist.
About the role
We are seeking a Staff Engineer to lead technical initiatives and build features across our sales engagement and social selling product lines. You will work within a profitable, bootstrapped environment to solve complex challenges for our global user base while mentoring engineering peers.

What you'll do
- Develop and deploy end-to-end features in collaboration with the product team
- Maintain and improve the codebase through refactoring, bug resolution, and performance tuning
- Act as a technical lead on specific projects to guide architecture and delivery standards
- Mentor other developers to help improve team output and technical quality
- Address high-impact technical problems affecting tens of thousands of daily users
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 7+ years of experience working with JavaScript and TypeScript in both frontend and backend environments
- Proficiency in Node.js, React, and MongoDB
- Demonstrated history of building and supporting web applications
- Ability to work autonomously and learn quickly
- Fluency in both French and English
- Residency within the French timezone (+/- 2 hours)
Nice to have
- Background in B2B SaaS startups
- Experience as a self-taught developer or creator of personal side projects
- Interest in experimentation and building outside of professional requirements
