Leapsome is actively seeking a driven Account Executive (High-Velocity) to join our growing sales team in New York. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for small and growing companies, guiding them to unlock the power of their people through our AI-powered platform. You will thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment where autonomy, continuous learning, and a focus on process optimization are essential for success. Your primary mission will be to rapidly identify, qualify, and convert high-potential opportunities within the 10-49 employee segment. You will build trusted relationships, tailor your approach to each customer's unique context, and leverage data to refine your sales methodology. Key facts
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end sales process for our high-velocity segment, rapidly qualifying leads and converting them into delighted customers within a ~30-day cycle.
- Manage a high volume of opportunities through a structured, semi-automated workflow, ensuring efficient progression from initial contact to closed deal.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders, adapting your communication style to align with each customer's specific needs and context.
- Prioritize opportunities strategically, focusing on deals that offer the highest probability of closure and long-term value for both the customer and Leapsome.
- Collaborate closely with the RevOps team to analyze sales data, provide feedback, and continuously refine the sales process to improve efficiency and win rates.
- Maintain a meticulously clean CRM pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, robust timelines, and reliable data hygiene.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and initial implementation for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition and strong early adoption.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives, such as OKR programs, that align with your interests and contribute to your professional growth and the company's objectives.
- Develop deep expertise as a product and industry specialist, utilizing a consultative, value-driven approach to guide customers toward successful outcomes.
- Leverage your understanding of AI and technology tools to confidently discuss platforms and capabilities with discerning customers.
Requirements
- You possess 1+ years of proven experience in a sales role, ideally within B2B SaaS, or in a client-facing capacity such as consulting.
- You demonstrate the ability to ask insightful questions, listen actively, and quickly synthesize information to understand explicit and underlying customer needs.
- You are highly structured and detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for optimizing processes and making data-informed decisions to drive results.
- You excel in fast-paced environments, balancing a sense of urgency with empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- You have a demonstrated interest in technology, AI, and the capability to discuss sophisticated tools and platforms with confidence.
- You are comfortable operating within a semi-automated, CRM-driven sales process and committed to maintaining the highest standards of CRM hygiene.
- You have a strong interest in HR technology or related fields such as organizational development or people operations, which provides context for your sales approach.
- You are eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, as this role is based in New York and requires immediate availability.

- A background in consulting or client-facing advisory roles where consultative selling is second nature.

Practical notes
This role is based in New York and requires eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. The position is full-time, with a hybrid schedule requiring presence in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The standard work schedule applies. Travel is not required for this position.
