Implementation Analyst, Product Finance
About the role
This position supports the growth of our Banking as a Service product finance operations. You will be instrumental in implementing new programs, analyzing data, performing reconciliations, and reporting on program performance. The role requires close collaboration with various internal teams and external fintech partners.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Document financial and data transaction flows for new and existing programs.
- Assess proposed transaction flows to ensure they align with Lead's established frameworks.
- Apply knowledge of Banking as a Service transaction architectures to maintain compliance with payment, deposit, and card product regulations.
- Act as a liaison between the Accounting department and Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams for program implementation and reporting.
- Support the entire lifecycle of lending, deposit, and payment products by understanding their transaction architectures.
- Aid in technical accounting integrations for Banking as a Service programs.
- Help build and manage data validation, analysis, and reconciliation processes for general ledger accounts and programs.
- Contribute to the creation of reports and dashboards for daily operations and management review.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency through streamlined data use and automation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years in operational accounting or reconciliation roles.
- At least 3 years of experience in fintech implementation.
- Demonstrated success in reconciling Banking as a Service programs, including complex research and exception handling.
- A strong understanding of transaction flows for lending, deposit, and payment products within a partner banking model.
- Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience managing projects and collaborating across different departments to achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- A curious mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
