You will play a key role in assessing and mitigating security risks while ensuring adherence to important industry standards. Key facts
What you'll do
- Work with various departments to establish and manage security controls within our GRC framework.
- Utilize technology to automate compliance tasks, such as evidence collection and control verification.
- Monitor and enhance program effectiveness using both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Advance continuous improvement projects related to GRC initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on engineering projects that meet GRC requirements.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and risk management principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in collaborative project environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS environments, particularly AWS control frameworks.
- Experience in information security within organizations with significant compliance obligations.
- Proficient understanding of security standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and FedRAMP, as well as privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR.
- Experience with collaboration tools including Confluence, Slack, and GitHub.
Nice to have
- Significant knowledge of software development and architecture.
- Certifications such as CCSP, PCI QSA, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.

Practical notes
Compensation ranges are as follows:
Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metro): $136,500 - $187,660
Zone 2 (Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle): $122,800 - $168,850
Zone 3 (All other US locations): $116,000 - $159,500
This salary range is in addition to Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, dental insurance, and mental health benefits. Exact compensation will depend on skills, experience, and location.
