About the role
This position is designed for an experienced marketing operations professional who will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the entire marketing technology infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring that marketing campaigns are executed smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on data accuracy, system integration, and automation. The role emphasizes an AI-first approach, meaning you will actively incorporate AI tools into daily workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop scalable systems, streamline processes, and support growth initiatives through innovative technology solutions. This is an on-site role based in the United States, requiring hands-on involvement in managing and improving marketing systems.

What you'll do
- Manage and oversee the entire marketing technology stack, including customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and data integration systems. You will define the strategic roadmap for these systems, ensuring they meet current needs and support future growth.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, permissions, naming conventions, and system integrations across all marketing tools. This includes maintaining data quality, security, and compliance standards to ensure reliable reporting and decision-making.
- Lead the operational aspects of marketing campaigns from initial setup, including audience segmentation and campaign configuration, through launch, monitoring, and post-campaign analysis. You will ensure all campaign components are correctly implemented and tracked.
- Maintain and optimize tracking infrastructure, including Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking pixels, and other tracking mechanisms used in paid advertising campaigns. You will troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure accurate measurement of campaign performance.
- Ensure consistent and accurate data flow between paid media channels, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards. You will work to eliminate data silos and ensure integration across tools.
- Proactively evaluate and implement AI-powered tools and workflows to automate repetitive tasks, enhance data analysis, and improve operational efficiency. This includes integrating large language models (LLMs) and workflow automation platforms into existing systems.
- Lead strategic initiatives related to account-based marketing (ABM) and product-led growth (PLG). You will develop and support the systems and workflows necessary to execute these initiatives effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and product, to ensure marketing technology aligns with overall business objectives and technical standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug integrations, scripts, and workflows to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime. You will be responsible for maintaining system health and performance.
- Build internal tools and automations leveraging LLMs and workflow platforms to streamline marketing operations and reduce manual effort. You will develop custom solutions tailored to the team's needs.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in marketing technology and AI, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance systems and workflows. You will evaluate new tools and recommend improvements.
- Document processes, workflows, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability. You will also train team members on new tools and best practices.
- Support compliance efforts related to data privacy and security, especially when working with sensitive customer data and advertising platforms.
- Participate in regular planning and review sessions to align marketing technology initiatives with broader company goals.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing operations or marketing technology roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of marketing systems and processes.
- Hands-on experience managing marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, including campaign setup, automation workflows, and reporting.
- Practical experience working with customer data platforms like Segment and automation tools such as Zapier to connect various marketing systems.
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, including data management, automation, and integration.
- Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flow management across multiple marketing tools.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring timely execution and accurate measurement.
- Experience developing automations or internal tools using large language models (LLMs) and workflow automation platforms to improve efficiency.
- Willingness to perform hands-on tasks such as building workflows, debugging integrations, scripting, and system configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and resolve issues without explicit guidance.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and document processes clearly.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices related to marketing data management.

- Experience working with paid media operations or ad technology platforms, including managing ad tracking and attribution.
- Background in enabling non-technical teams to adopt and AI tools effectively within marketing workflows.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations or other compliance standards relevant to marketing data or AI tools.
- Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools beyond standard platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript to customize workflows and automations.
- Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) strategies and related system requirements.
