FullStack Engineer, AI Observability & Evals Platform

About the role

LangChain is hiring a FullStack Engineer to build and scale LangSmith, our platform for AI observability, evaluation, and deployment. You will work directly with enterprise clients and internal teams to ship features that help developers move AI agents from initial prototypes to production environments.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy features across our Go, Python, and Typescript technology stack.
• Work with design and product teams to refine the platform roadmap and implement new functionality.
• Maintain high engineering standards by writing clean, tested code while meeting fast-paced project deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience on complex platform products.
• Fullstack proficiency using Go or Python for backend development and React with Typescript for frontend interfaces.
• Practical knowledge of database systems including Postgres and Redis.
• Proven ability to design and scale APIs for data-intensive, high-performance applications.
• Ability to own projects from start to finish and iterate quickly based on user feedback.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and interacting with enterprise customers.

Nice to have

• Background in developer tools, observability platforms, or applications powered by LLMs and AI.

Practical notes
