About the role

The Office of the CTO is seeking a technical leader to drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within the semiconductor industry. You will design and implement enterprise-wide AI strategies, transforming complex data into functional solutions that support research and development.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end AI solutions using the internal AI Foundry, Agent Runtime, Orchestration, Knowledge Service, and Ontology platforms.
• Create reusable solution patterns for R&D and enterprise teams to adopt.
• Coordinate between Platforms & Technology, AI Delivery Execution, and AI Product Management groups to ensure architectural consistency.
• Oversee design reviews and establish technical standards for RAG, agentic workflows, and orchestration.
• Integrate security, data governance, and cost management into every architectural design.
• Prioritize the use of common platform primitives over redundant custom solutions to improve efficiency.
• Manage the lifecycle of AI projects from initial architecture to production deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of AI engineering experience, with a focus on solution or enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record in architecting enterprise-scale GenAI solutions, including RAG and agentic frameworks.
• Proficiency in GenAI orchestration tools like LangChain and LangGraph, plus agent communication standards such as MCP.
• Strong grasp of ML and DL frameworks, including clustering, decision trees, and neural networks.
• Expertise in Transformer architectures, including attention mechanisms, encoder-decoder designs, and model fine-tuning.
• Experience building RAG pipelines, vector databases, and optimizing inference performance.
• Ability to act as a technical authority, leading design reviews and navigating cross-team trade-offs.
• Knowledge of enterprise data foundations, semantic layers, and ontology services.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI solutions on Azure or Databricks.
• Background in full-stack software development or data science.
• Ability to communicate complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
