About the role

Kpler provides intelligence for the commodities, energy, and maritime sectors, helping organizations navigate complex global trade markets. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution for our Cargo Predictions team to ensure our predictive models remain accurate and reliable.

What you'll do

• Establish the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cargo predictive models and algorithms.
• Manage the end-to-end product backlog by translating market requirements into actionable epics and user stories.
• Balance competing priorities including model accuracy, latency, regional expansion, and technical debt.
• Coordinate sprint planning, release cycles, and stakeholder updates to maintain consistent delivery velocity.
• Collaborate with data scientists to define model evaluation standards and performance metrics.
• Monitor model quality, identify gaps, and integrate findings into the development roadmap.
• Serve as the primary liaison between commercial teams, engineering, and data science to align product outputs with client needs.
• Set and maintain high standards for documentation and product development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership for B2B data, SaaS, or analytics products.
• Proven ability to manage complex, data-intensive products within agile, cross-functional teams.
• Technical familiarity with data pipelines, system architecture, APIs, and data models.
• Experience defining KPIs and success metrics for model-driven products and data science initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data schemas and translate them into product requirements.
• Proficiency in agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across commercial and technical departments.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor or Master degree in Data, Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Agile certifications such as CSPO.
