Product Manager

About the role

Kpler provides intelligence tools for the commodities, energy, and maritime sectors. You will join the Risk and Compliance team to manage the platform that helps banks, traders, and insurers monitor vessel behavior and sanctions exposure.

What you'll do

• Manage the product backlog by converting business goals and user needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Balance customer impact, commercial requirements, and technical constraints to prioritize the product roadmap.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release coordination.
• Coordinate with engineers, data scientists, and analysts to turn market insights into product specifications.
• Enhance enterprise features such as API performance, data delivery workflows, and system reliability.
• Track success metrics and user feedback to guide future development and measure value.
• Maintain documentation standards and ensure consistency across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience in Technology, Data, Economics, Finance, or Law.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for B2B data, analytics, or SaaS products.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products within Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with engineering teams on data-intensive platforms, including understanding APIs, data pipelines, and system dependencies.
• Ability to interpret data to define success metrics and inform roadmap strategy.
• Experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
• Capability to review technical documentation, data schemas, and API specifications.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
