About the role
This role manages complex, cross-functional programs within the Engineering and Product Operations team. You will oversee the data platform lifecycle, ensuring that technical initiatives align with organizational roadmaps and quality standards.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end delivery of complex programs including planning, scoping, and sequencing.
- Facilitate quarterly roadmap cycles to align engineering and product teams on priorities and resources.
- Maintain program documentation, including risk registers, dependency maps, and project timelines.
- Coordinate the rollout of data platform features such as pipelines, services, and schema updates.
- Implement and enforce release gates to verify data quality and readiness before deployment.
- Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership and VPs.
- Develop and scale program management processes across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs within product or engineering environments.
- Demonstrated success managing organizational-level planning, including resourcing and dependency management.
- Experience working with healthcare data, such as claims, EHR/RWD, or coding systems like ICD, NDC, and CPT.
- Technical fluency to engage with data engineers regarding schemas, pipelines, and data contracts.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to synthesize feedback, accelerate planning, and generate status reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Background in AI/ML development cycles, including model evaluation and iterative releases.
- Experience building data platform infrastructure like ingestion pipelines or data lakes.
- Familiarity with high-growth environments that require building new program infrastructure from scratch.

Practical notes
Compensation for San Francisco and New York City ranges from $173,000 to $215,000 USD. For all other US locations, the range is $150,000 to $185,000 USD. This role may be eligible for equity, performance-based bonuses, and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching. Komodo Health operates on a hybrid model.
