About the role

Komodo Health is seeking a technical lead to bridge the gap between our data ecosystem and client business objectives. You will manage the delivery of our AI engine, Marmot, while ensuring our technology effectively addresses complex patient challenges.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, managing delivery milestones and requirements gathering.
• Integrate Komodo data and Marmot AI into the workflows of healthcare organizations.
• Act as an internal advocate for customer priorities, coordinating between Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and project roadmaps to ensure internal alignment.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to communicate data boundaries to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate delivery workflows and resolve technical bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data querying (SQL or similar), database schemas, and data architecture.
• Operational knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, and API technologies.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as Airflow, Snowflake Tasks, or scripting.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including the use of generative AI to improve productivity.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
• Track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in healthcare, life sciences, or healthtech.
• Degree in a quantitative or technical field like Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Health Informatics.

Practical notes

• Compensation for San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $121,000 to $162,000 USD.
• Compensation for all other US locations: $105,000 to $141,000 USD.
