Principal, Product Strategy

About the role

You will serve as the segment owner for Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) within our Life Sciences division. This role focuses on defining product vision, managing P&L strategy, and building solutions that address critical gaps in the healthcare market.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Define and execute the RWE/HEOR segment strategy to drive growth, retention, and market penetration.
• Prototype new product concepts using AI and low-code tools, then collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to ship them.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of the product portfolio and competitive landscape.
• Lead market entry for new solutions, including initial value proposition development and early customer implementation support.
• Represent Komodo as a subject matter expert at industry events and during high-value sales negotiations.
• Deliver 3-5 live revenue-generating solutions within your first year.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in RWE/HEOR, either within life sciences, as a consultant, or at a healthcare data/analytics firm.
• Deep expertise in RWE/HEOR workflows, including buyer/user personas and competitive market dynamics.
• Proven ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into evidence-based strategies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex narratives to executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
• Demonstrated curiosity and comfort using AI coding or coworking tools to build prototypes or workflows.
